Korte beschrijving:

Legering 825, vaak aangeduid als Incoloy 825 (waarbij Incoloy een handelsmerk is van Special Metals Corp), is een nikkel-ijzer-chroomlegering met toevoegingen van molybdeen, koper en titanium (NiCr21Mo), die wordt geleverd in warmverwerkte en gegloeide toestand. De legering behoudt goede mechanische eigenschappen bij temperaturen van cryogene tot middelhoge temperaturen (5400 °C) en kan indien nodig aanzienlijk worden versterkt door koudvervorming.
